About The Author

Tonya Lynnette is a retired Army veteran and an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. She holds degrees from Cleveland State and Kent State Universities and currently serves as a vocational rehabilitation counselor working closely with fellow veterans.

 

Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio Tonya credits her parents for shaping her character her mother for instilling faith and perseverance and her dad for teaching her strength and determination. His unwavering presence and support never missing a single special event remain among her most cherished memories.

 

A devoted mother of two and grandmother of four she enjoys riding motorcycles roller skating and embracing life’s adventures. Writing has always been Tonya’s passion. What began as poetry inspired by her life experiences has grown into her debut novel a heartfelt story she hopes readers will enjoy as much as she enjoyed creating it.
